Who we help

Are you experiencing…

Many people come to us carrying one of these quietly for a long time. You don't have to keep carrying it alone.

Anxiety & worry

Racing thoughts, tight chest, the quiet hum that won't turn off at night.

Low mood & burnout

A flatness that's hard to name. Work, people, joy — all feel further away.

Life transitions

Career shifts, breakups, new parenthood. The in-between can be disorienting.

Relationship patterns

The same script keeps playing — with partners, family, or yourself.

Self-doubt

An inner critic that's louder than anyone around you. You deserve kinder company.

Something you can't name

A quiet feeling that something's off. You don't need the right words to begin.

Our approach

Compassion, experience and care.

We blend evidence-based therapy — EMDR, IFS, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing — with what research sometimes forgets: time, presence, and a space that feels safe. Sessions are 50 minutes, available in-person in Toowong, Brisbane or via secure Telehealth.

A space that holds you

Therapy works when you feel safe enough to slow down. We bring patience, presence and clinical depth — so the work can meet you where you actually are.

Good to know

Your questions, answered simply.

No jargon. If yours isn't here, just ask.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?
You don't have to be in crisis. Many people come to therapy to understand themselves better, work through a life change, or just have a thoughtful outside perspective. If you're on the fence, the free 15-minute call is a low-stakes way to find out.
Do I need a referral to see a psychologist?
No. You can book directly with us. If you'd like to claim Medicare rebates, you'll need a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP — we're happy to walk you through that.
What does a session actually cost?
Standard 50-minute sessions are $240. With a Mental Health Care Plan, you'll receive a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session for up to 10 sessions a year. We hold a small number of reduced-fee places — please ask.
How long will I need to come for?
Everyone's different. Some people find what they came for in 6–8 sessions; others stay longer. We'll check in regularly about what's helping and whether the pace is right.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. With very few legal exceptions (such as risk of serious harm), what you share in the room stays in the room. We'll cover this carefully in your first session.
